Come along to the Gate in St Clears on Thursday March 1st and celebrate St. David’s Day. From 11.30am onwards there will be a slideshow of St. David's Day local school photos from the 1950's to present day. Come and see if you or your relatives are in any of the photographs. Annie’s café will be serving cawl and Welsh cakes. The shop will be open for a selection of Welsh gifts and art whilst the gallery presents an exhibition of work by local artist Donna Gray. The gallery will also host a musical quartet featuring members of the Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra. They will be playing traditional Welsh music during the afternoon. Dress up and join in the fun. Annie has promised a free cup of tea and a Welsh cake for anyone who comes along in Welsh costume. For any further information, tel Y Gat on 01994 232726.
